Welcome to the Pulteney Football Club
The Pulteney Football Club has a strong tradition of success, courage and respect for the guernsey. We expect everyone who steps over the white line on a Saturday – from first-year school leavers to seasoned veterans, from those who’ve been Pulteney men since day one to those who we’ve welcomed from elsewhere – to uphold it.
The club currently fields three teams in the South Australian Amateur Football League – SAAFL (D6, D6R & C4). All games are played on Saturday afternoons and our home ground is Morgan Oval, South Tce, Adelaide.
Our history dates back to 1936 which has seen 15 Premierships along with 17 Senior Medallists. The most recent premiership was in 2016 by our B-Grade side who won convincingly against Lockleys FC. Our C-Grade also made it to the big day but unfortunately was outclassed by a well-structured and disciplined Plympton FC.
Trainings are held at Morgan Oval every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm and post-match functions are held each Saturday evening at the Saracens Head Hotel in Carrington Street, Adelaide from 6:30pm.
Want to play? Dust off the boots and get in touch – we would love to hear from you!
