Welcome – Will Rivers

Happy Friday, Blues fans. Sit back, relax, and enjoy. We are stoked to announce Will Rivers has arrived in the parklands and signed for 2026.

Will comes to us from the Brighton Football Club after a year off. Will has an extensive career there playing over 250 games and was captain from 2012-2021.

In his time, Will has won multiple Best and Fairest awards, Premierships, Premiership captain, CHF in the 2024 division 1 team of the year, and is CHB in the Brighton Bombers team of 25 years.

Will is a versatile key position player who has also played multiple association and state games for South Australia along with SANFL experience at the Adelaide Crows. Will was a junior at Glenelg and has also spent time at the Padthaway football club in the KTNFL and the Waratah football club in the NTFL.

Will is a massive addition to the Blues, with his leadership coupled with his desire to develop our young players. He will also be a dominant force on game day.
